Job Summary:
The Senior Scrum Master will be dedicated to a Scrum team(s) and will be considered a subject-matter expert, have excellent logic and problem solving skills and a drive to make a difference. This role will be responsible for enforcing the rules of Scrum, removing impediments from their team while promoting self-management and constantly improving our standards of work.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
• Communicate with management, developers, product managers, and technical support specialists on product issues to ensure alignment and resolution.
• Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meetings.
• Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress to stakeholders
• Maintain process documentation and ensure adherence to core Agile principles.
• Ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
• Assist as needed with backlog maintenance.
• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
• Assist with prioritization and resolution of defects/bugs.
• Proactively participate in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices.
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress, preventing distractions and promoting productivity.
• Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution within the team, empowering them to self-organize and collaborate effectively.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience.
• At least two (2) years of Scrum Master experience.
• Must have stable employment history.
• Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures.
• In-depth understanding of the phases and processes involved in the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Familiar with the organization's development platform, including tools, frameworks, and technologies used in software development.
• Knowledgeable with programming languages commonly used within the organization, enabling effective communication and collaboration with development teams.
• Ability to comprehend technical issues and challenges faced by development teams, such as software bugs, performance bottlenecks, or integration issues.
• Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to take initiative and drive tasks to completion without constant supervision, demonstrating a strong work ethic and self-discipline.
• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines, prioritizing workload based on urgency and importance.

• Experience using ServiceDesk or similar ticketing system

Work Condition:

• Work schedule: 8pm to 5am PH, Monday-Friday Philippine Time
