Position: Enterprise Operational Risk Operations Lead
Business Group: Risk Department
Type/Setup: Full time - Hybrid Setup
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- -Provides critical inputs related to individual work plan/areas; assigned to aid the development of short, mid and long-term strategies for the ORM function.
- Assists in the review and development of operational risk policies and standards for risk management.
- Assists in the implementation of strategic plan to prevent, eliminate and mitigate operational risks.
- Performs operational risk identification and assessment in business units through different assessment activities such the Risk and Control Self-Assessment and project risk assessment/advisory activities - Develops and monitors implementation of Key Risk Indicators
- Performs analysis on breaches and trends for Key Risk Indicators - Assist business units in identifying root causes of operational risks and provide support to mitigate risk.
- Performs periodic monitoring of operational risk issues and risks treatment plans
- Assist in the implementation of other ORM tools as instructed by ORM Head.
- Assists in the preparation of report on operational risk issues and decisions to senior management.
- Provides reports and updates to ORM head for BAU Activities
- Escalates key risks and actual/potential non-compliance incidents to respective risk owners through the ORM Head, ERM Head and CRO to ensure that potential risks or incidents are managed effectively.
- Keep abreast of latest operational risk management techniques and industry best practices.
- Assists in the implementation of awareness programs on ORM policy/framework, Org-wide Risk Matrix and common risk language across the organization.
- Performs activities required by the ORM Head, ERM Head and CRO, as it arises.
- Assists on resolving open audit items from internal / external audits related to Operational Risk Management to ensure completion of remediation activities defined in the agreed action plans and risk treatment plans
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business with 2 or more years of solid work experience in the financial industry handling risk, data and/or controls.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Independent and be able to work under pressure
- Organize, analytical with good level of strategic and tactical knowledge
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of process management, internal controls and risk management
- High level of integrity and take ownership and accountability of results

Payroll Administration and Management – ASTICOM will be responsible for the overall payroll management of the client's employee. This service includes the implementation of Asticom's very own payroll system.
Outsourcing/Shared Service Model – ASTICOM will enter an engagement with the client wherein Asticom will act as a service provider that will directly manage operations (people, tools of work, productivity, and others).
Staffing Services – ASTICOM will enter an agreement with the client as the principal. Asticom's project employees shall be deployed to the client for the duration if the engagement.
