Developers/Programmers (Information & Communication Technology)

As an React Native Development Team Lead will be responsible for both hands-on software development and for leading a team of engineers who are working for mobile iOS/Android applications. Participate in the design and implementation of new projects or functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works with product team to understand project requirements
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Technical documentation – Designing architecture, flow diagrams, documenting technical implementation approaches and pseudocode
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX design
  • Device strategies, or innovative approaches that have significant impact on the application design
  • Set and evolve standards and best practices for our application development team – Conduct code reviews and enforce standards
  • Oversee development process compliance and CI activities
  • Guide/Mentor junior developers and empowering them on React Native and related trends

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in leading and managing development teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • 6+ years of software development experience building and scaling mobile applications, with a focus on React Native.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field BSIT
  • Proven track record of leading and managing development teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration/delivery pipelines, and other software development tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) processes and tools, particularly Fastlane, for automating build, test, and deployment pipelines.
  • Familiarity with backend technologies and frameworks (e.g., , , MongoDB) is a plus.
  • Experience with a variety of software development processes, and ability to apply the right process for the project.
  • Proven ability to build productive relationships and motivate team members. Must have a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully hiring, motivating, retaining and effectively deploying talented software developers to perform against aggressive delivery goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Building REST API or other server tools with backed technologies, such as Node, Java, etc.
  • Experience Working on Agile Teams and using Application Lifecycle Management tools like JIRA
