The Human Resource and Admin Department plays an important role in the strategic and operational initiatives of the organization. The Department provides structure to the organization by developing and implementing policies and procedures that protect employees and meet organizational objectives, talent management, compensation and benefits, safety and health, employee relations, training and development and data analytics.

It performs various tasks and responsibilities aimed at strengthening the workforce and promoting a positive workplace environment that helps improve employee performance, morale, retention and engagement at work.

JOB PURPOSE OR FUNCTION

Designs and conducts Training Needs Analysis (TNA) through different methods (Survey, Performance Appraisal, Coaching, etc.).

Designs, develops, and implements training programs for employees in different levels of the organization to uplift employee morale and required training to improve employees' skills and competencies. Evaluates both employees and the training programs to measure their effectiveness.

Conducts post-training assessment of all training activities.

Offers opportunities for career growth and development through training programs, mentorship, and promotions which can help employees feel invested in their role and motivated to stay with the company.

Coordinates with the HR Operations Head in performance management monitoring to ensure high productivity and designs performance improvement plans in coordination with the Department Heads.

Creates Training Needs Analysis for all levels of the organization.

Designs, develops, and implements training programs based on the Training Needs Assessment (TNA) and performance appraisal results that would include but not limited to Coaching and Mentoring Programs, Management Development Program (MDP), Future Leaders Program (FLP), and the different career pathing and succession planning development needs.

Acts as the Superintendent of the Vismotor Academy.

Maintains Vismotor Academy's Training Calendar: Plots training plan by scheduling, conducting, and assigning training programs, ensuring that all employees have access to the necessary training and development opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills.

Updates training plans and programs regularly to ensure that it remains relevant and effective in meeting changing needs of the organization.

Assesses effectiveness of learning methods and instructional materials and its impact on employees and on their KPIs.

Facilitates training activities and conducts Train the Trainers Program to develop training skills of the different Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), ensuring that the training sessions are conducted in an effective and engaging manner.

Coordinates with the different SMEs in the conduct of new-hire orientation and technical training for skills enhancement or performance improvement specific to job functions.

Monitors and provides feedback on the training performance results through regular coordination with the Trainees' Immediate and Department Heads and makes recommendations for improvement.

Monitors Training Supervisors in the implementation of training programs, ensuring that they are aligned with the Vismotor Academy programs, goals and objectives, and that they are effective in meeting the identified training needs of employees.

Selects appropriate training methods or activities by determining applicability of training types (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, classroom setting) for employees.

Markets available training programs for employees at the ManCom level and provides necessary information about sessions through information campaigns and posting in designated platforms.

Evaluates the effectiveness of learning methods and instructional materials in terms of their impact on employee performance and their ability to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).

Ensures that Training Supervisors are engaged with the academe and other government institutions to stay up-to-date with the latest training methodologies and best practices.

Leverages external resources and expertise as a source of potential talents.

Implements the Training Bond Policy at the Management level, ensures proper monitoring of employees with active Training Bonds and reports status periodically.

Coordinates with Talent Acquisition in the hiring needs of the Branches and ensures that agreed % fill rate is met at any given month.

  • Prepares budget request for training programs and other learning development activities subject for approval of Immediate Superior.
