  • Manage and oversee Product Development unit activities such as market research and marketing information gathering with respect to product development, technical sales inquiries, warranty claims, technical seminars, and training to internal and external customers, communication endorsements to OCEO.
  • Monitoring of compliance of various tasks and other related activities essential to the overall performance and growth of the Department business in general.
  • Supervise and assist PD members in the implementation of their day-to-day activities as but not limited to Defective Parts Evaluations and warranty issues; Procurement Endorsements; shipment arrival inspections and other PD Activities like sticker label printing, visual preparations, inventory of product samples, and defective parts, and reportorial activities of PD including periodic review of file management for members convenience and easy retrieval of files and documents.
  • Ensure strict compliance to deadlines and commitments of all PD members involving each assigned tasks and activities including reportorial requirements if any. Conducts proper review of all submitted tasks and activities in relation to set instructions and directives including established standards guidelines and policies.
  • Ensure Proper adherence to these guidelines and policies, and act accordingly within the norms of existing companies.
  • Actively participate in the various PD Technical and warranty evaluations especially acquisitions of complicated tasks that require complex technical evaluation and/or defective parts analysis.
  • Always seek consultation with the Department Heads, especially in dealing with PD issues that may require complex solutions or higher-level decisions.
  • Oversee compliance and regular updates of the Vehicle Information Management System by the members. Properly filled up required VID Data like vehicle make, general and specific model description, engine, and chassis models, and year models including displacements. Ensure the accuracy of all data as these shall be integrated into the system.
  • Validating information thru various available resources like product catalogues, electronic catalogues, reliable websites, and other variable materials and sources including info obtained thru customer visits.
  • Supervise data and price analysis involving current and new products. Ensures the accuracy of needed information such as but not limited to price, brands, suppliers sources, terms of payments, salesmen information, and the sources of gathered information.
  • Oversee and consistently monitor strict compliance with deadlines of PD activities. Ensuring accuracy, market demand, required critical measurements, technical designs, material specifications, and other info.
  • Plan and supervise the periodic product knowledge training across all departments internal and external.
  • Coordinates with various heads regarding the needed training requirements and prepares appropriate training materials and modules of each member. For external customers, collaborate with Sales Specialists and PD members for the needed product training and orientation of various customers nationwide. Provide the needed materials and ensure updating training modules appropriately fit for each and every customer.
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a graduate of any Engineering course.
  • with experience in automotive parts and research is an advantage.
  • must have good leadership, communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • has the ability to be organized, detail-oriented, and good customer service.
  • proactive, high sense of responsibility and urgency.
  • willing to do fieldwork.
  • willing to work in Sta.Cruz, Manila
