The Track Lead manages project financials, vendor coordination, and ensures contract and process compliance under the direction of the Team Lead.

The Track Lead cascades direction from the Team Lead to people in his team: workload prioritization and assignment, functional recommendations, and communicating and enforcing team-established processes.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plans, prepares, and manages the activities of his track and ensures completion of deliverables according to the timeline
  • Coordinates with Vendors to relay the requirements of Project Teams in order to determine the commercials and manage all activities until these are available for the project team
  • Keeps track of all project financial activities
  • Ensures that vendors are able to comply to contract stipulations
  • Reports Operational and Capital expense figures, status, risks and issues impacting activities to the Team Lead and/or Deputy Team Lead in a timely manner. Provides recommendations for resolving issues and mitigating or avoiding risks.
  • Performs people management activities as needed by the project
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
