We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for content development and training, project management, and other related tasks. He/She should be a quick learner in a fast paced environment. The Accounting Trainer will be working in a team set up and reporting to the Quality and Training Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Content Development and Training:

  • Assisting in the preparation of training manuals.
  • Preparation of training materials for the learning management system (Right-Hand Tool).
  • Preparation of certification exams (theoretical and practical).
  • Live Q&A session for Sleek Platforms
  • Live training for SFRS and UFS Preparation
  • One-on-one coaching sessions for trainees under the Training Focus Group

Project Management:

  • Assignment of training materials to New Joiners and other target participants.
  • Daily monitoring of training completion and update of training trackers.
  • Weekly update of Sleek Academy training analytics.
  • Assignment of Certification Exams
  • Daily escalation of trainees with pending training completion or pending exam submission.
  • Marking of papers – certification exams
  • Preparation of training certificates.

Other Tasks:

  • Other Ad hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
  • Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. CPA an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of financial reporting working experience.
  • Adept with the latest financial reporting standards such as IFRS and IFRS for SMEs.
  • Hands-on experience with XERO and/or QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Proactive and passionate about learning. Previous teaching experience an advantage
