- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree on Nursing.
- Fresh Grad / Entry Level specializing in Healthcare - Nurse/Medical Support and Assistant or equivalent.
- Obtains comprehensive relevant patient data through: (a) interview; (b) correct obtainment of vital signs, which include pain; (c) The use of advanced assessment techniques that is focused or systems approach; (d) correct interpretation of data obtained from monitoring equipment; and (e) correct interpretation of diagnostic results.
- Maintains complete, accurate, concise, and updated documentation of patient care. Observes procedures and policies pertaining to any aspect of clinical charting and reporting.
- Encodes patient's information in the Clinical Information & Management System
- Draft the medical abstract of the patient upon his/her request and ensure that it is checked and signed by the attending physician before issuance to the requesting patient
- Be attentive to patient's needs; initiates steps that will comply with their requirements to meet and exceed their expectations.
- Collect patient feedback and keep superiors informed regarding problems or issues in the patient care within the nursing unit.
- Develops, executes and evaluates established plan of care for specific procedures/patient such as but not limited to: care of the emergency and trauma patient. Delivers nursing care consistent with the Patient's Bill of Rights (i.e. Right to privacy, right to confidentiality, right to refuse treatment)
- Responds to and provide appropriate nursing action for emergent situations
- Coordinate monthly patients' schedule of operations.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative orientation to patients regarding the do's and don'ts. Assist with patient care in the recovery room, procedure room and operating room.
- Give assistance in dilating the patient's eyes during emergencies such as lack of manpower due to unscheduled absences of other ORTs/nurses
- Assisting the doctors in encoding patient treatment plan specifically in LASIK surgeries.
- Perform basic knowledge in usage and minor trouble shooting with the machines on LASIK and Cataract surgeries.
- Prepares the surgery room, including sterilization and preparation of equipment, instruments and medications before the procedure. Ensures the surgical field remains sterile all throughout the procedure, adhering to safety standards and precautions.
- Responsible and accountable for verification and witnessing that the patient or the patient's legal representative has signed the consent in their presence and that the patient, or the legal representative, is of legal age and competent to provide consent of treatment.
- Performs a range of non-surgical, anti-aging treatments, such as those involving lasers, and skin rejuvenation. Knowledgeable with lasers, their clinical applications and surgical techniques, and most specifically their safe use.
- Collaborate with the whole health care team to provide safe, integrated and high-quality plan of care to the patients.
- Observes a high level of confidentiality in all matters related to patient care and delivers nursing care consistent with the patient's rights.
- Providing assistance to new doctors on board.
- Other tasks that management may assign from time to time relevant to job position.
- Minimum salary is PHP 20,000.00
