Role Description

This is a full-time role located in BGC, Taguig and is an on-site role, reporting to the President. The Head of Procurement - Construction will oversee the strategic procurement initiatives for the construction materials and related categories, and will drive cost savings, supplier performance, and process improvement. The Head of Procurement - Construction will lead, manage and develop a team of procurement professionals, working closely with the construction team and ensuring that purchasing goals are aligned with project objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering or related field associated with Procurement, with a Construction background.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a senior procurement role, preferably in Construction
  • Proven track record in delivering cost savings initiatives and driving performance improvements.
  • Hands-on procurement experience, including knowledge of contract management, strategic sourcing and procurement operations.
  • Experience in vendor management and supplier relationship management, including supplier performance measurement and evaluation.
  • Experience in process improvement, systems implementation and change management is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing a team of procurement professionals.
  • Experience in managing procurement for construction projects is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong customer focus, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
