The role will also involve processing and ensuring timely and accurate salary payments for all internal and external employees.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced HR Officer who will be responsible for managing compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and overseeing the timely and accurate processing of salaries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage payroll systems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement compensation and benefits policies in line with company objectives and local labor laws.

Ensure compliance with all local government regulations regarding compensation and benefits.

Process and ensure timely and accurate salary payments for all internal and external employees.

Handle employee inquiries related to compensation, benefits, and payroll.

Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance in payroll processing.

Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure proper documentation and reporting of payroll expenses.

Stay updated on changes in local labor laws and government policies affecting compensation and benefits.

Maintain accurate employee records related to compensation, benefits, and payroll.

Serve as a resource for employees regarding compensation and benefits-related inquiries and concerns.

Key Objectives:

First 30 Days:

Familiarize yourself with company policies, procedures, and payroll systems.

Review existing compensation and benefits policies and identify areas for improvement or updates.

Conduct meetings with finance and accounting teams to understand the current payroll process.

Begin building relationships with employees and gaining their trust and confidence.

Participate in ongoing HR training and development programs.

First 60 Days:

Update and revise compensation and benefits policies as needed, ensuring alignment with company goals and local regulations.

Conduct a comprehensive audit of payroll practices to ensure compliance with labor laws.

Develop a plan for addressing any discrepancies or issues identified during the audit.

Implement a system for tracking employee inquiries and ensuring timely responses.

Initiate discussions with department heads to address any compensation or benefits concerns.

First 90 Days:

Ensure the implementation of updated compensation and benefits policies and procedures.

Address any payroll processing issues promptly and effectively, maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Monitor payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate salary payments.

Evaluate the effectiveness of current compensation and benefits programs and identify areas for improvement.

Prepare a report summarizing accomplishments and outlining future goals.

After 120 Days:

Continuously monitor and adjust compensation and benefits policies to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.

Implement additional strategies to improve payroll processing efficiency based on feedback and observations.

Conduct regular audits to ensure continued accuracy and compliance in payroll processing.

Identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements within the HR department.

Collaborate with management to develop long-term compensation and benefits strategies aligned with company objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Accounting, or related field.

At least 3 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on compensation, benefits, and payroll processing.

Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Proficiency in payroll systems and MS Office/ Gsuite

Php 25,000 monthly salary
