This is a full-time role with the primary responsibility of supporting Human Resources Management with tasks such as Compensation and Benefits, Data Management, Vendor Management, Business Compliance and Employee Engagement.

He or she will take the lead in overseeing, managing, and administering HR functions such as employee benefits, data compliance, vendor coordination, business adherence and employee engagement activities to ensure that HR procedures are in place and observed in a timely manner while promoting a good working environment.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Human Resources Functions:

  • Assist the HR Leadership in the development of company HR strategies, policies and procedures
  • Develops and sustains standardized HR internal reporting systems and procedures
  • Helps maintain continuous improvement initiatives for HR Operations
  • Performs Human Resources functions including but not limited to:

Business Compliance

  • Manages the implementation and administration of government-mandated policies and regulations
  • Ensures that the organization adheres to all relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Ensures that the HR initiatives and policies are in alignment with the legal requirements
  • Creates, reviews and updates HR documents including employee communication tools, policies, and procedures

Employee Services, Benefits Implementation and Payroll:

  • Oversees all statutory documentary reportorial requirements and ensures company's compliance as mandated at:
  • Social Security System (SSS)
  • PhilHealth
  • Responsible for the administration of employee benefit programs (government-mandated and company-initiated) such as but not limited to insurance enrollments, leave availment, and other related benefits
  • Coordinates and collaborates with the external partners for smooth business partnership
  • Maintains and updates employee records with new hire information and/or changes in the employment status
  • Takes the lead in maintaining the HRIS tool and other HR data systems
  • Updates and maintains organizational charts on a monthly basis
  • Tracks and maintains employee headcount month on month
  • Process and responds to employees' queries and resolves issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Performs timekeeping responsibilities and coordinates with the Finance department
  • Ensures payroll computation is accurate and payroll releases are done timely
  • Process employee's resignation and termination process such as last pay computation and releasing, clearance processing, asset monitoring and the like
  • Participates and supports the HR initiatives such as engagement, organizational development activities and trainings

Talent Acquisition

  • Assists in the New Hire On-Boarding in terms of creation of tickets for asset requests, new hire orientation and office access registration
  • Oversees the completion of employment requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • College graduate preferably with a degree in BS/ AB Psychology and related courses
  • Minimum of two (2) years of total job experience specializing in Human Resources or equivalent in a BPO or call center working environment
  • Willing to work in BPO work shift setting. May require changes in work shift per operational requirements.
  • Willing to work onsite in Cebu Business Park, Cebu City
