Plant Sales Manager (Construction)

Monroe Consulting Group Philippines, an executive recruitment firm, is representing a Japanese multinational company renowned for its expertise in agriculture, water, and environmental sectors. They are seeking a Plant Sales Manager with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally with a strong background in the construction industry and knowledge of water treatment processes. The position is based in Makati City, with an onsite arrangement from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM.

Job Summary:

The Plant Sales Manager is tasked with driving and managing the sales of water treatment plants and related solutions. This role involves strategic planning, customer relationship management, and leveraging technical expertise to successfully promote and sell the company's products and services.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the annual plant sales targets set for KKPC, including sales revenue and profit goals.
  • Develop new customers, primarily in the private sector, while maintaining relationships with existing clients to expand the plant sales business.
  • Conduct market surveys in the water and wastewater treatment sector, especially targeting private sector opportunities.
  • Ensure Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) of documents and promotional materials.
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, financial proposals, contracts, and other necessary documents.
  • Gather necessary information from customers, suppliers, government entities, and related authorities.
  • Prepare and submit applications for necessary approvals from relevant authorities.
  • Manage document control and filing systems for the plant sales department.
  • Supervise subordinates within the plant sales department.
  • Collaborate with various departments within KKPC, including planning, project, and purchasing departments.
  • Support the director in plant and marketing activities in the Philippines.

Key Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, commerce, or economics.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Understanding of plant business, with a preference for experience in water and wastewater treatment.
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing and sales activities.
  • Experience managing a department with at least 1 or 2 staff members.
  • Working experience in plant sales or related business in the water and wastewater treatment sector, particularly in the private sector.
  • Fluency in Japanese is a plus.
