Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology)

May be assigned either to lead Business/Systems Analysis resource within a project and/or a support team intended to render shared services to multiple projects (eg.- development of template artifacts, frameworks, methods, etc.).

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the identification of functional requirements and plan appropriate solutions vetted with both Project and QC team leadership. Prepare and maintain documentation of the same.
  • Prepare and maintain BA resource plans and corresponding schedules, ensuring said plans are coordinated with the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Lead assigned resources in the preparation and maintenance of relevant deliverables and artifacts (eg. Business and Solution Modelling, Business Process Documentation, Functional Specifications, Data Mapping, etc.), execution of tasks, and prescribed reporting. Ensures these are in conformance to OIST standard.
  • Provide advanced analysis of new and existing data and its relation to business processes and logic defined by TD and CTL users which complies with the departmental systems and tools.
  • Address data requirements for CTL and TD reports by carrying out the following:
    • In-depth Data and Systems analysis;
    • Design and develop relational databases based on industry's best practices;
    • Data design/modelling and mapping
    • Data import/migration and transformation;
    • Data cleansing;
    • Design and build data input or data collection screens;

6. Work with relevant parties to troubleshoot operational issues associated with data utilized in the systems/tools of of CTL and TD.

7. Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations and alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas and assist management in driving business decisions based on data.

8. Oversee training and mentoring of other Requirements and Data Analysts.

9. Maintain and enhance the existing data infrastructure supporting CTL and TD systems/tools in such as trade finance management, risk rating analysis, pricing, capital adequacy, and ratings migration

10.Act as Subject Matter Expert in the Business Analysis area (eg. Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, Business Process Modelling and Notation, SDLC, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any of the following majors: Commerce, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology/Management, Mathematics/Statistics, Finance or related field.
  • With 10 years relevant work experience as a Business Analyst and at least 5 years in a leadership role OR;
  • At least 10 years of experience in data analysis and data integration and 5 years or more working experience with Oracle ERP related business process and data OR;
  • At least 10 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL with at least 5 years of experience in the analysis of financial data and applications
  • Understanding of the Oracle E-Business Suite database schema, for a range of application modules.
  • Knowledgeable in Oracle E-Business Suite's system administration tasks, e.g., define users, application responsibility, register functions, menus and procedures.
  • Exposure to Oracle database, Oracle PL/SQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MS Access.
  • Good working experience in Advanced Excel functionalities. Visual Basic, and VBA.
  • Exposure in DevOps and Agile processes would be an advantage
