Marketing Communications (Marketing & Communications)

Responsible for the conceptualization and implementation of major marketing projects in the following fields: promotions, branding/image building, publicity, customer relationship management, and concessionaire/store concerns. Handles the implementation of the marketing/advertising.

1. PROJECT CONCEPTUALIZATION

  • Initiates projects and activities that support marketing strategies & objectives.
  • Conceptualizes marketing programs and develops comprehensive concept paper, work plan and budget for assigned project.
  • Creates and presents a comprehensive calendar of activities including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling of work assignments.
  • Plans and implements the calendar of promo including detailed mechanics and budget for expenses.

2. PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

  • Executes planned projects, coordinates with store personnel, other departments and/or other BU's for seamless implementation.
  • Coordinates with the Merchandising Department to solicit support from the vendors and third-party suppliers regarding the production and installation of promotional collaterals, and other logistical requirements of the promo like applying for DTI permits.
  • Handles local store assiignment marketing initiatives, sponsorships and local store marketing.

3. PROJECT STANDARDS & ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Monitors expenses and ensures proper execution of planned projects in a timely manner and within budget.
  • Prepares and processes documents needed for the implementation of the project such as cash advances, promo sheets, purchase requisitions and request for payments, liquidates and files them accordingly.
  • Distributes and monitors all merchandising collaterals and other related logistics (before and during the project), secures all excess premiums with proper inventory for future use.

4. SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP

  • Ensures timely and clear coordination with suppliers giving enough lead time to secure quality products / services rendered.
  • Ensures proper endorsement to Procurement Department for negotiation and supplier agreement.
  • Monitors and evaluates supplier / agency performance versus commitment.

Accomplishes request for payments and meets commitments without delay.

5. REPORTORIAL REQUIREMENT

  • Submits comprehensive project completion reports in a timely manner and in coordination with different departments to gather essential data needed for the report.
  • Observes and shares key insights relevant to the project for inclusion in the reports.
  • Prepares reports and analysis of the promos implemented which may be used as valuable information in conceptualizing upcoming promos.
  • Submits weekly updates to his/her immediate superiors for proper coordination and approval of plans.
