The Process Specialist is responsible to support the growing Global Markets Business and to provide support to Front Office Traders, Balance Sheet Team and other Front Office stakeholders in their day to day business.
The ANZ Markets business has products distributed globally across multiple jurisdictions and entities. Global Markets asset classes consist of FX, Rates and Credit, Global Capital Markets, Commodities and Structured Products. These products are distributed across a range of clients and across various locations. Front Office & Client Support has presence in a number of Global locations provide and provide cross product and time zone support.
Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Support the growing markets business in Australia/Asia and provide additional support to the global team and key front office and enablement stakeholders.
Ensure accuracy of funding forecasts and assists in helping improve operations workflows.
Oversight of internal funding systems and providing accurate forecasts, oversee local clearing and nostro settlement systems with Agent banks for the completion of payments and liquidity requirements.
Perform investigations of unsettled trades impacting funding.

- Manage and escalate issues and to be pro-active in identifying issues and solutions. Ensure that all services delivered comply with ANZ Group governance requirements, policies, processes and standards and with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Work with other teams in Front Office Support FX, Rates and Credit, in Australia, London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangalore and other regions.
- Work with other teams in Front Office Support including Client Services, Funding Support as well as other enablement teams including Operations.
- Ensure controls and procedures are adhered to, mitigating operational risks.
- Contribute to fostering a strong collaborative culture and positive team dynamics consistent with the Bank's Values
Role Type: Permanent
Schedule and work set Up: Australian Business hours, day shifts, Hybrid work set up after training, Weekends off, follows AU holidays
What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Working knowledge of different asset classes, Bank Loans, Foreign Exchange and/or Rates & Credit/ Bonds and Repos, will be an advantage.
Knowledge of middle office processes and the Front Office trading systems including knowledge of Wall Street and/or Murex would be advantageous.
Proven experience in financial services with middle office experience
Able to influence people to deliver outcomes, build strong working relationships within and across business units
Strong customer service ethic, subject to maintaining internal controls
