MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Processing of PayablesUnderstands the invoice processing workflow, process objectives, logic, risks, and interdependency of SAP modulesProcesses and records payables for employee reimbursements, cash advances and petty cash replenishment on a timely basisEnsures that expense reports are properly supported and approved by designated approversEnforces compliance with established guidelines for business expensesValidates the General Ledger account used against the nature of the spendingEnsures the correct treatment of VAT and application of withholding tax for all employee spendingEnsures completeness and tax compliance of supporting documentsCommunicates with end-users on expense report documentation issueObtains proper approval from Accounts Payable Head and Controllership Head

2. Reporting and Analysis

Analyzes and prepares account reconciliation for Advances to Officers and Employee account.Prepares and endorses quarterly report on outstanding advances to employees and officers.Communicates and follows through with end users to obtain resolution for long outstanding requests that are not yet paid.Propose adjustments needed to reflect existing payables of the Company.Identifies and initiates process improvements to enhance quality of work and realize efficiencies in process execution.

3. Compliance

Participates in the audit of Accounts Payable by responding to auditor’s inquiries and performing process walkthroughPrepares schedules and provides expense reports, vouchers and supporting documents during internal, external, IMS, and rate rebasing auditsServes as backup to ensure business continuity and meet deliverables

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Graduate of B.S Accountancy, a CPA license is an advantage

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

With at least three (3) years of relevant work experience

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Proficient in MS Office

High problem solving and analytical thinking skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Able to learn new software applications

Knowledge in SAP is an advantage
