  • Preferably Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration Graduate or any Business Course.
  • With at least 2 years of related working experience in Logistics, Freight Forwarding and Brokerage.
  • Knowledge of sales practices and the most efficient customer service techniques.
  • Proficient in computer software systems (MS Office and others).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and dedication to customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to pay strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Act as the organization's front-line contact for all customer-related requirements and needs.
  • Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of shipping date, method and current status and answering inquiries.
  • Helps in managing current customer accounts by attending to their needs and inquiries.
  • Deals with a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls.
  • Coordinates shipment bookings with agents and provides complete and accurate details in order to obtain final documents prior to shipment departure and/or arrival.
  • Provides real-time updates to clients regarding the status of pick-up or delivery.
  • Provides written status reports on a daily basis, in accordance with the customer's submission requirement.
  • Respond to customer complaints, act, and solve problems by providing satisfactory solutions.
  • Multitasking is required when handling multiple modes of transportation for both international and domestic freight forwarding services.
  • Responsible for coordinating with carriers and truckers to book, process and monitor transactions.
  • Search out and recommend List of possible providers based on company requirement. Work closely with the Supervisor in sourcing 3rd party truckers in order to pool the necessary fleet for deliveries and distribution.
  • Review performance of providers and report the findings to Management.
     
  • Responsible for completing documents such as client delivery receipts, invoices, and packing lists. Collate “Proof of Delivery” of every shipment.
  • Maintain an updated monitoring status report and documentation of shipments.
     
  • Coordination of delivery schedules and shipments for smooth operations and customer commitments are met.
  • Ensure and be in charge of obtaining the relevant documentation for shipment, as well as communicating with and cascading the documents to the brokerage, warehouse, and other departments.
  • Ensure that required documentations are submitted by providers to the Finance Department prior to processing of payments.
     
  • Adhere to his/her immediate supervisor in adhering to company standards/policies.
  • Set a proactive example for other employees and create a harmonious environment with a high standard of work ethics.
  • Participate actively in the company's offer to attend freight forwarding and logistics product knowledge training, skill enhancement, seminars, and the like.
  • Willing to monitor and update clients or the Account Holder on the status of shipments during weekends or Holidays (if needed).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
