What You'll Lead & Accomplish
Manage a team of Admissions Advisors to achieve set turnaround times, process applications with high accuracy, and ensure compliance with visa regulations and policies.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Admissions team to ensure smooth workflow.Provide direct line management of advisors, including performance management, appraisals, and professional development.Ensure the team meets SLAs for customer service, application turnaround times, and accuracy.Collaborate with the team to accurately evaluate applications and make decisions regarding academic enrollment based on set criteria.Foster a positive, collaborative, and empathetic work environment.Operational Efficiency:
Stay informed about changes in regulations and requirements, ensuring these updates are communicated and implemented within the team.Contribute to the development of new processes and procedures in response to technological and legal developments.Lead the team through changes, ensuring the successful adoption of new processes.Collaborate with Team Leads in other locations to maintain a seamless workflow between all Admissions hubs.Provide support and expertise to other Team Supervisors as needed to maintain SLAs.Monitor team performance, track targets, and deliver regular reports on progress.Stakeholder Management:
Build strong relationships and maintain effective communication with regional offices, educational institutions, agents, and internal stakeholders.Optimize student conversion rates through exceptional customer service and relationship management with key stakeholders.Gather feedback and address concerns from stakeholders promptly and effectively.Additional Duties:
Perform other duties as required by the Senior Manager, UK Partner Admissions Operations.What It Takes to Guide Future Leaders
Proven experience in team management within a service or operations role.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/training in a relevant field.Deep understanding of UK Higher Education application processes and visa requirements.Excellent knowledge of the UK education system.Strong background in customer service and administrative environments.Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and handle pressure.Flexibility to adapt to new tasks and willingness to learn.Proven ability to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.Positive attitude with problem-solving skills.Team player capable of working with minimal supervision.Desirable
Three years’ experience with UK pathway or Higher Education providers.Familiarity with the education systems of other countries.Experience in student admissions or student services.Perks of Joining Our Educational Mission
