Job DescriptionJob Title: Technical Services - Wind Construction, HeadCountry: PhilippinesPosition SummaryThe Technical Services - Wind Construction, Head shall provide technical, projectmanagement, logistics and other construction related services related to the company'sprovision of qualifying services as set out by the company and its subsidiaries.The role shall provide project and construction management services relating to theconstruction and commissioning projects in the Philippines.Key Responsibilities:- Primarily responsible for all issues related to the project management of theconstruction of the Company's wind projects up to the project commissioning includingliasing with the Company's project partners, EPC contractors and sub-contractors,advisors, regulators, owners'/lenders engineer and management team.- Monitor construction contract obligations, debt document obligations and generalcorporate activities of the Company and other Project Companies.- Deliver Company's wind projects on-time and on-budget.- Assist management, on an as needed basis, in the selection of:o Equipment and technical components and vetting of system design for newwind farms as requiredo EPC contractors and sub-contractors and expert advisors via tender or directengagemento Construction, project management and engineering staff to complement- Weekly reporting to the Company and Vena management on progress and performanceof each wind project facility under construction;- Assist in the project management of other Vena platforms as a senior advisor asrequired;- Assist in developing and providing best practice reporting and monitoring templatesand presenting to Vena management and potential investors as required;- Assist Company management with the development of process, systems andprocedures that ensures worker safety, environment protection, positive communityengagement and good governance are fundamental pillars upon which the business isdeveloped;- Assist in supporting key managerial functions of Vena Energy, including but not limitedto building and supporting an appropriate technical and operation team staffed with local employees. It is expected this will include a mentoring and leadership role to juniormembers of the team.- Conduct oneself in a professional manner that reflects and builds on the core values ofVena Energy;- Other routine maintenance duties, as assigned.
