Qualifications:

Tertiary/technical qualifications in Mechanical engineering discipline are essential.

  • Knowledge and specifications of latest design engineering and analytical techniques and software is essential.
  • Knowledge and know-how of piping design software (Navisworks).
  • Knowledge of piping stress calculation methods, piping and support layout design and piping material specification.
  • Understanding of P&ID.

Experience & Technical Competencies:

  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate broad experience in Oil & Gas Brownfield and Greenfield Facilities (min. 10 yrs).
  • Demonstrated success in past project involvement and technical delivery of small to medium size projects.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) with ability to interact across multiple disciplines.
  • Check and review engineering deliverables. Isometric drawings , Piping Layouts, Plot plans etc.
  • Develop detailed design calculations, engineering data sheets, specifications and trouble shooting of design issues
  • Review vendor documents, drawings, test procedure, certificates, operating manuals, design books and engineering data books in accordance with the project design specification and suggest recommendation
  • Experience in 3D model review.
