The Site Engineer provides necessary assistance for the Project Engineers; they are directly responsible for the on-site supervision and monitoring of the projects assigned. This includes manpower handling, data reporting, and project monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • With at least 1 year of related experience
  • PRC License is an advantage but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as AutoCAD (2D and 3D Drawing Layout)
  • Knowledgeable in the operation of Centralized LPG piping System is an advantage

Principal Accountabilities:

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Design LPG piping layout through floor or kitchen plans provided by client through ocular inspections as per industry standards.
  • Study project plan, specification and calculating time requirements.
  • Arrange the necessary manpower, materials and equipment including PPEs.
  • End-to-end on-site project monitoring through progress reports, coordination activities and problem resolutions.
  • Monitor requests and all movement of equipment requested from the warehouse.
  • Establish standard work instructions, house rules and regulations for the team.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and legal requirements throughout the duration of all projects.
  • Attend and maintain all technical requirements over assigned commercial accounts and ensure all installation systems are in excellent working condition at the end of every project.

CLIENT/SITE COORDINATION

  • Coordinate workflow, scope and methodology to general contractors/clients.
  • Perform necessary communication with other subcontractors to ensure unhindered work and safe working conditions.
  • Act as the main on-site coordinator between the installation team and the assigned Project Engineer.

PROJECT DOCUMENTATION

  • Securing all necessary work permits such as but not limited to: hot works permit, temporary facility, power & water supply etc.
  • Ensure all materials requested and equipment movement are documented.
  • Provides service reports with pictures.
  • Prepare all necessary reports for both internal and external clients.
  • Coordinate workflow, scope and methodology to general contractors/clients.
  • Perform necessary communication with other subcontractors to ensure unhindered work and safe working conditions.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Conduct / Participate in pre-installation toolbox meetings.
  • Provide on-site supervision to assigned team (task delegation, project monitoring, DTR monitoring)
  • Provide instructions and necessary guidance to the installation team on-site.
  • Resolve manpower issues and other irregularities and report to Project Engineer.
  • Coordinate with CHROD on case hearings when necessary.
  • Monitor the daily tasks and objectives of the subordinates.
  • Provide crucial guidance and support to the subordinates.
