Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in piping design, layout planning, and material take-off
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Plant 3D or AVEVA E3D; skilled in 2D AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with industry standards (JIS, ASME, ANSI, API, etc.)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Willing to participate in meetings and technical discussions
  • Adaptable to dynamic work environments and changing project requirements

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing piping layouts based on P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and engineering inputs
  • Create and update 3D models of piping systems, equipment, and supports using AutoCAD Plant 3D or AVEVA E3D
  • Ensure proper pipe routing and support placement to meet design standards and avoid clashes
  • Prepare isometric and orthographic drawings for fabrication and construction
  • Maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and line lists
  • Coordinate with senior engineers to ensure quality and compliance with project standards
  • Participate in technical training and workshops to stay updated with industry practices
