Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Assist of may be assigned develop detailed system design specifications such as narrative descriptions and system flow charts, system inputs, processing logic, database/file definitions and structure, program specifications, system outputs, and system interfaces.

Assist or may be assigned in the development and design of databases and files to ensure data integration and uniqueness of data between application systems.

Assist or may be assigned in the development of in-house applications software, which is unavailable in the marketplace; working within emerging technical environments to develop system utilities involving complex data exchange among multiple programs that require sophisticated program logic.

Determine system changes or enhancements; bug fixing; and /or systems fine tuning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.

· Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer, Oracle Certified Professional, AWS Developer Associate) are an advantage.

Technical Skills

· Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or PHP.

· Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle).

· Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks like Angular or React).

· Experience in API development and integration (REST, SOAP).

· Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

· Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

· Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

· Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for application issues.

Experience

· Minimum 2 years of experience in programming, application development, or systems analysis.

· Exposure to financial/banking applications is a plus.

Soft Skills

· Excellent communication and documentation skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
