As an AU Accountant at REMCO BPO, you will provide full-cycle accounting support to clients in the Australian market. This full-time, on-site role is based in Angeles City, Pampanga, where you will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for Australian customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable processing, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Australian accounting standards
  • Assist in preparing tax returns and regulatory filings
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to support business decisions
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to resolve accounting queries
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls
  • Process doctor payments via Google Sheets and banking platforms
  • Manage staff wages using the Tanda workforce system
  • Use PentCat software to extract and analyze clinical and billing data
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports
  • Collaborate with medical, admin, and business teams to ensure data accuracy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in an Australian context
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations
  • Proficient in accounting software
  • Experience in bookkeeping
  • Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Excel
  • Familiarity with Tanda or similar payroll/rostering software
  • Experience with PentCat or healthcare performance platforms
  • Knowledge of Medicare item numbers and GP clinic billing (desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
