Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in backend development.
  • Proficient in J2EE (Spring Framework) and/or Python (Django Framework).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and scalable application design principles.
  • Familiar with common design and architectural patterns.
  • Skilled in writing reusable J2EE and/or Python libraries.
  • Solid understanding of multithreading and concurrency in both Java and Python.
  • Experienced in building and integrating RESTful and SOAP APIs.
  • Proficient in relational and non-relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration (CI), and unit testing.
  • Familiarity with automated testing platforms is an advantage.
  • Proficient in version control tools such as Git and Mercurial.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless applications is a plus.
  • Exposure to other backend technologies such as C, C#, (Hapi JS, Express JS) is an advantage.
  • Additional experience in IoT projects, NoSQL databases, or machine learning is a strong plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Hybrid work setup: 2 days per week work-from-home arrangement.
