Back-End Magento Developer - Onsite/Night Shift

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Back-End Magento Developer with 3–7 years of hands-on experience in Magento 2 architecture, custom module development, and complex API integrations. You will work on building scalable solutions, integrating enterprise systems, and optimizing performance for high-traffic e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain custom Magento 2 modules and extensions.
  • Integrate Magento with ERP, CRM, PIM, and payment gateways.
  • Build and maintain REST, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs.
  • Optimize database queries and application performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex back-end issues.
  • Ensure platform security and apply Magento patches.
  • Write unit tests and participate in code reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–7 years as a Back-End Developer specializing in Magento 2.
  • Strong PHP (7.4+/8.x) and OOP knowledge.
  • Advanced MySQL/MariaDB query optimization.
  • Experience with Redis, Varnish, and caching strategies.
  • Proficient in Git, Composer, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Linux server administration and Apache/Nginx configuration.
  • API development (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and authentication (OAuth, JWT).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Magento Commerce/Adobe Commerce experience.
  • Multi-store/multi-website implementations.
  • Magento Certification (Professional Developer) – Nice to Have.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, RabbitMQ, and headless commerce.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php150,000.00 per month
