Job Summary:

The Sr. Systems Engineer is responsible for the implementation and deployment of FDC's solutions for our clients. This role involves designing, installing, and supporting various systems while ensuring they meet customer requirements and align with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute on-premise Active Directory migrations, including domain consolidation and restructuring.
  • Perform complex Exchange on-premise migrations and support Exchange infrastructure upgrades.
  • Manage and execute Exchange Hybrid migrations from on-premise to Office 365, including Azure AD Connect configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Plan, configure, and deploy Microsoft Intune for device management and endpoint protection.
  • Implement and maintain Azure Sentinel for SIEM and security monitoring.
  • Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Cloud for threat detection and posture management.
  • Design and implement Azure Firewall policies to control and monitor network traffic.
  • Configure Azure Application Gateway and Web Application Firewall (WAF) for secure, scalable application delivery.
  • Utilize Azure Migrate for assessing and transitioning workloads to Azure.
  • Implement Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery (ASR) for business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and operational support for both on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Work closely with security, networking, and infrastructure teams to ensure systems are secure, optimized, and compliant with best practices.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • BS Information Technology, BS Computer Science or other related course.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of working experience with similar job responsibilities/description

  • Good experience or familiarity with the following:

  • Active Directory Migration (on-premise)

  • Exchange Migration (on-premise)
  • Exchange Hybrid Migration (on-premise to o365) and Azure AD Connect
  • Microsoft Intune Implementation
  • Azure Sentinel
  • Microsoft Defender for Cloud
  • Azure Firewall

  • Effective communication skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
