We are seeking Azure Systems Engineer to manage and maintain a hybrid IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong Windows Server and Active Directory engineering skills, along with experience supporting cloud initiatives in Microsoft Azure. This role will work under the guidance of senior engineers to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of both on-premises Windows environments and cloud-based Azure resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Windows Server environments (DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services)
  • Manage Active Directory services including user accounts, groups, OUs, and domain controllers
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Windows Server performance and system issues
  • Execute patching, updates, and maintenance procedures
  • Manage backup and recovery operations
  • Administer VMware virtualization infrastructure and virtual machine lifecycle
  • Manage and monitor Azure resources (VMs, storage accounts, etc.)
  • Assist in deploying Azure services using Azure Portal, CLI, Infrastructure as Code, and PowerShell
  • Monitor performance of VM servers and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
  • Oversee Azure resource costs and maintain organizational standards
  • Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and implementation
  • Participate in cloud migration projects and strategies

Required Skills:

  • At least 3 years of expertise in Windows Server administration and Engineering
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure administration and services
  • Experience with VMware platforms (vSphere, vCenter)
  • Scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)
  • Knowledge of Windows Server roles and features (IIS, Print Services, RDS)
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures
  • Understanding of RBAC and security permissions
  • Experience with Azure Portal, CLI, and monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
  • Working knowledge of virtual machines, disks, snapshots, and backup strategies

Highly Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure
  • Knowledge of Azure Migrate and Azure Site Recovery (ASR)
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Understanding of Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, load balancers)
  • Experience with hybrid cloud integrations (Azure Arc, VPN)
  • Azure Administrator Associate certification (AZ-104) or equivalent
  • Additional scripting languages (Python, Bash)
  • Basic understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Instances)
  • Advanced Windows Server troubleshooting skills

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid setup: 2 days onsite in Makati, 3 days remote
  • Participation in on-call rotation for 24/7 support may be required
  • Must be available to respond to critical incidents and scheduled maintenance windows

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php70, Php105,000.00 per month
