The Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role manages budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls, while providing insights to senior management to drive business performance and growth.

Job Overview:

Employment type: Full-time

Shift: Night shift (9:00 PM - 6:00 AM PHT)

Work setup: Onsite

Site Assignment: Ortigas (SFS Corporate Center)

Role Overview:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between our internal team and Big 4 auditor.
  • Manage and coordinate all audit-related deliverables and communications.
  • Oversee delivery of PBC (Prepared By Client) lists and audit documentation.
  • Assign and track audit tasks across:

-Internal accounting team

-Internal and external legal counsel

-Human resources

-Other cross-functional stakeholders

  • Prepare and review financial schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Provide technical accounting oversight to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Anticipate auditor needs, manage timelines, and mitigate audit risks

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading financial audits, either from within an organization or as a former auditor.
  • Industry experience in banking, fintech, or payment processing (REQUIRED).
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and audit workflows.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Hands-on and detail-oriented with a proactive communication style.
  • Experience drafting or reviewing financial statement footnotes and disclosures
