About the role

At SteelAsia Manufacturing Corporation, we are seeking a dedicated Delivery Monitoring Assistant to join our team in Meycauayan City, Bulacan. As a Delivery Monitoring Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of our products to our valued customers. This is a full-time position that will require you to work on-site at our warehouse and distribution centre.

What you'll be doing

  • Monitor the progress of product deliveries and update relevant stakeholders on the status of orders
  • Liaise with our transportation providers to coordinate and track the movement of goods
  • Maintain accurate records of all deliveries, including delivery times, customer feedback, and any issues encountered
  • Identify and address any delays or discrepancies in the delivery process, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Provide support to the logistics team in planning and executing delivery schedules
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of delivery reports and performance metrics
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our logistics and distribution operations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar delivery monitoring or logistics support role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in using relevant software and technology, such as inventory management systems and delivery tracking tools
  • Knowledge of warehousing and distribution practices, as well as familiarity with the local transportation network
  • A proactive and customer-oriented approach, with a commitment to providing high-quality service
