As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a driven and knowledgeable Medical Sales Representative / Product Specialist to support and grow our sales activities within the country.
Position Summary:
The Medical Sales Representative / Product Specialist will be responsible for promoting and selling our oncology products and services to clinics, hospitals, specialists, and health centres. The ideal candidate must have a strong academic background in molecular biology or biomedical science and a good understanding of oncology, either through pharmaceutical or diagnostic experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Achievement
· Actively promote and sell oncology diagnostic products and services to healthcare professionals.
· Execute sales strategies and action plans effectively, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and policies.
· Continuously track sales performance within the assigned territory and take timely corrective measures when needed.
· Drive the inclusion of newly launched and priority products in hospitals, clinics and healthcare centres within the targeted timeline.
Territory Business Planning
· Analyze market trends and competitor activities
· Develop and execute a clear business plan to meet sales targets and expand market share.
· Track and report on KPIs, sales activities, and market feedback.
· Engage in promotional campaigns and activities to boost product visibility and awareness in the market.
· Identify customer needs.
Customer Focus and Service
· Travel nationwide to engage with clients, provide product training, and support sales efforts on the ground.
· Continuously update and maintain accurate customer segmentation, databases, and records of visits or meetings.
· Communicate key promotional messages consistently in line with the approved marketing strategy.
· Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with both current and prospective customers.
Reporting/ Administration
· Prepare and submit monthly reports highlighting any deviations from the business plan, along with proposed corrective actions to realign performance with set objectives.
Personal Development
· Maintain excellent product knowledge on the company's products.
· Stay updated on industry trends, particularly in oncology.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, or a related field.
· –3 years of working experience in medical sales, preferably in oncology (pharmaceuticals or diagnostics).
· Strong communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English (spoken and written).
· Willingness to travel extensively within the country.
· Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
· Able to prepare and manage business plans and meet performance metrics.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in selling cancer diagnostics or working with oncology specialists.
· Familiarity with molecular testing methods and personalized medicine.
