Job Advertisement: Senior Medical Representative / Product Specialist – Anti-Infectives

The Opportunity:

Philcare Pharma is seeking highly motivated and experienced Senior Medical Representatives and Product Specialists to join our dynamic team. This is a critical field-based role where you will be instrumental in promoting our portfolio of anti-infective products. You will serve as a key liaison between our company and the medical community, building on your extensive knowledge to educate and engage with specialists who are on the front lines of patient care.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Territory Management: Develop and execute strategic sales plans for assigned anti-infective products within your assigned geographical region.
  • Key Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships with a highly specialized audience, including Infectious Disease (ID) Specialists, Pulmonologists, and Critical Care physicians.
  • Expert Medical Education: Act as a product expert, delivering accurate and compelling information on our anti-infective portfolio, clinical data, and therapeutic applications to influence prescribing decisions. This includes engaging with doctors who manage infectious diseases, including those related to pulmonary and critical care medicine.1
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of the evolving therapeutic landscape, market trends, and competitive intelligence to position our products effectively within the market.
  • Educational Initiatives: Plan and facilitate product presentations, peer-to-peer discussions, and other scientific engagements with healthcare professionals to reinforce our product value.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven, extensive experience (minimum 5-7 years) as a Medical Representative or Product Specialist with a successful track record in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically with anti-infective products.
  • Therapeutic Knowledge: In-depth and demonstrated knowledge of infectious diseases, critical care, and pulmonary disease management.
  • Professional Networks: Proven strong franchise and familiarity with leading infectious disease (IDs), critical care intensivists, pulmonologists and officers of local and national medical professional organizations such as the Philippine Society for Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (PSMID) and the Philippine College of Chest Physicians (PCCP) is a significant advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex scientific information clearly and concisely.
  • Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the designated territory.

Geographical Focus:

We are hiring for positions across the following key regions:

  • National Capital Region (NCR): Covering major cities such as Manila, Quezon City, Makati, Taguig, and Muntinlupa.
  • Central & North Luzon: Including provinces and key cities like Bulacan, Pampanga, Bataan, Tarlac, Pangasinan, and La Union.
  • South Luzon: Covering the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, and Rizal.
  • Visayas & Mindanao: Targeting key metropolitan areas, including Iloilo, Bacolod, Cebu, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro.
