About the role

As the Director of Operations you will lead the operational aspects of the business, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services to clients. As a strategic member of the leadership team, you will play a key role in driving the company's overall objectives and growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee all operational activities within the business unit, ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies, policies and procedures to optimise performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Manage and lead a team of operational managers and supervisors, providing coaching, mentoring and support to drive high performance
  • Monitor key performance indicators and utilisation metrics, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions
  • Collaborate closely with other functional teams, such as sales and HR, to ensure seamless cross-functional working
  • Represent the business with key clients, building strong relationships and managing escalations effectively
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the overall business strategy and vision

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience (8+ years) in a senior operational management role, preferably within the teleservices/business process outsourcing industry
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving operational excellence
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driving continuous improvement
  • Degree qualified, preferably in a relevant field such as Business, Operations Management or a related discipline
