Job Summary

The General Manager (Healthcare) is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, strategy, and financial performance of the healthcare organization. The role requires strong leadership, deep understanding of healthcare operations, regulatory compliance, and the ability to drive growth while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Develop and execute business strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee daily operations of healthcare facilities, ensuring efficiency and quality service delivery.
  • Drive expansion initiatives, new service lines, and operational improvements.

Clinical & Quality Oversight

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and ethical practices.
  • Collaborate with medical and clinical leadership to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Implement quality improvement programs and patient safety initiatives.

Financial Management

  • Manage budgets, P&L, and financial performance of the organization.
  • Control operational costs while improving revenue and profitability.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions.

People Management & Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and senior management teams.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure effective workforce planning, performance management, and training.

Business Development & Growth

  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities, partnerships, and alliances.
  • Strengthen relationships with doctors, insurers, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Enhance brand presence and patient satisfaction.

Regulatory & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with local healthcare laws, licensing, and accreditation requirements.
  • Manage risk, patient safety, and data privacy standards.
  • Handle audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master's degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 8–15 years of experience in healthcare operations, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of hospital/clinical operations, healthcare regulations, and quality standards.
  • Proven experience in financial management, business growth, and team leadership.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php Php70.00 per month
