We are looking for 2 x Experienced Broker Support, Loan Processors, or Financial Services Professionals who will assist in efficiently processing mortgage loan or business loan applications for Australia. As a Broker Support you will be in charge of making sure of the timely and accurate processing of loan applications with high levels of client satisfaction within defined service levels and process steps.

Qualifications & experience

  • Proven experience in Australian Mortgage Loan Processing, including end-to-end loan processing tasks.
  • Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Sound experience with software and platforms such as ApplyOnline (AOL), Quickli, CoreLogic and MS Office.
  • Proficiency in analysing PAYG and ideally Self-employed income documents, including pay slips, tax returns, and financial statements.
  • Good understanding of loan processing procedures, compliance regulations, and guidelines.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple mortgage applications effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner. Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability for day shift hours aligned with Australian Banking Hours (9 am to 5 pm Melbourne, VIC Australia Time).

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Process mortgage loan applications from initial submission to final settlement, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Review loan documents and application materials for accuracy and completeness, including verifying income, assets, credit consumer reports, and conducting Living Expense analysis.
  • Manage data entry and document filing within the CRM system.
  • Utilize software applications such as Quickli, Mercury, Apply Online to facilitate efficient loan processing.
  • Maintain meticulous records of loan processing activities and ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  • Address and resolve borrower inquiries and concerns throughout the loan application process.
  • Undertake additional tasks and duties as needed to support business goals.
  • Assist with ad hoc office projects and initiatives, including handling complex or urgent requests

It's an advantage if you:

  • Have experience in Mercury CRM
  • Have experience in complex loan structures and types, including multiple applicants, SMSF, and trust lending.
  • Have a general knowledge of credit policies across the different lenders or the ability to research this information
  • Have completed a degree in Finance or any related field
  • Have experience in business or commercial finance
