Job Summary:

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This role involves understanding customer needs, recommending products or services, and maintaining the overall appearance of the sales floor.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services
  • Achieve individual and store sales goals
  • Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies, and inventory
  • Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure store cleanliness
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally
  • Collaborate with team members to meet store objectives
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and trends
  • Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Prior retail or sales experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused with a positive attitude
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as needed
  • Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
