ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-

  • Design and develop electrical power, control system single line diagrams, termination diagrams, power consumption list, bill of material, cause and effect, control philosophy, test protocols
  • Responsible for the solution design, system and software configurations, HMI system, Mimic Diagrams
  • Review and integrate vendor's equipment and components electrical and control system
  • Coordinate all phases of assigned area electrical engineering projects from concept, scope development, written specifications, bid solicitations, design, equipment commissioning, and project closure
  • Preparations for equipment and components specification for vendor sourcing
  • Coordinate with other internal stack holders, vendors, and clients
  • Work closely with the marine certification societies and responsible for class submission and approval
  • Lead and participate in process improvements
  • Occasionally required to work outside Singapore to attend meetings, site visiting, FAT and commissioning
  • Any other job assigned

JOB REQUIREMENT:-

  • A Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Preferably with programming knowledge)
  • Experienced engineers with minimum 2 years working experience in related field (Compulsory)
  • Experience with industrial PLC (Omron, Siemen or Equivalent) systems, HMI systems or distributed control systems, or relevant control processes
  • Experience with networking, Modbus, Profinet and Profibus
  • Knowledge of the IEC Code, AC & DC motor drives and starters, and automation of marine equipment
  • Familiar with rules and regulations of marine classification societies
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good communication, independent and self-driven
