We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Electrical and Power Engineering Training Instructor to join our team. The role involves designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs related to electrical systems, power engineering, safety standards, and industry practices. The instructor will ensure trainees gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills aligned with industry and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training modules in Electrical and Power Engineering (theory and practical applications).
  • Prepare lesson plans, presentations, course materials, and assessment tools.
  • Ensure training programs comply with industry standards, safety codes, and relevant regulations.
  • Conduct lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and workshops for trainees.
  • Assess trainee performance, provide feedback, and prepare evaluation reports.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and practices in electrical and power engineering.
  • Maintain training equipment, tools, and laboratory/workshop facilities.
  • Support accreditation and certification requirements (if applicable).
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental protocols during training.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in the field of electrical and power engineering (minimum 3–5 years).
  • Prior teaching, training, or instructional experience is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, transmission, and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to design engaging training materials and conduct both theoretical and practical sessions.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel or relocate depending on training schedules and site requirements.
