In 2022, Sedona opened its new office in
Singapore
and expanding in
Bangkok
. In an international growing context (new clients, new projects), Sedona Asia is currently looking to expand its team. We would like to onboard a new Consultant to support client's projects.

We are looking for a
Senior Data GCP Engineer
to join our team. You will be working for one of our clients, a global French retail company –
worldwide leader
of the industry – to ensure their data availability, integrity, and security.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes within Google Cloud environment for efficient data integration.
  • Able to design and implement database schemas and write queries to retrieve and manipulate data.
  • Create data pipelines in airflow, DBT and the general suite of Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions/Run, Vertex AI, Cloud Build).
  • Use scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of data workflows and processes.
  • Implement containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) for efficient deployment and management of data applications.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, big data, and data warehousing
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools (Airflow, dbt)
  • Knowledge of data storage and data processing
  • Proficient in Python and SQL
  • Strong experience with cloud computing platforms such as GCP (preferred)
  • Good communication skills and Fluency in English, French is an advantage
  • (Optional) GCP certification is a plus
