What Are Our Wishes

  • Must have at least 4-7 years of Relevant experience in Data Engineering.
  • Development in Azure Data Factory is a priority but experience with Cloud ETL looks such as AWS Glue or GCP Cloud Data Fusion/Flow is also considered.
  • Python programming skills in Data Analytics/Big Data is a must.
  • Cloud Data Engineering skills in Azure (preferred), AWS, and/or GCP is a must.
  • Must have experience working in enterprise environment with Data Warehouse/Data Lake/Data Lakehouse environment.
  • Modern Data Architecture and Data Modeling experience.
  • Worked on at least 2 enterprise scale projects as a Data Engineer.
  • Power BI or knowledge of BI tools is a must.
  • Good communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders.
  • An independent can work on his/her own with minimal to zero supervision.
  • Machine Learning/AI understanding is nice to have.

*How can you contribute to the team?*
The Senior Data Engineer is expected to work with the local D&IT Team to deliver and support Data Analytics requirements. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver necessary solutions across the organization. A high level of technical expertise is expected to provide solutions and architecture as needed. The resource will report to the D&IT Business Solutions Manager for Data in the Philippine market.

  • Develop Data Engineering Requirements using Azure Data Factory, Python, SSIS and other relevant tools.
  • Solutioning and delivery of Data Lake & Data Warehouse related solutions.
  • Provide business of ad-hoc data requirements and be able to build simple dashboards.
  • Support and maintenance of existing pipelines, queries, stored procedures, and reports.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and deliver solutions.
  • Be able to develop reports and simple dashboards in Power BI.
  • Create and update required documents such as ERD, Technical Requirements Documentation, Business Requirements Documentation, Mapping Documentations etc.
