Visa and Compliance Officer

As a Visa and Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting the migration and recruitment operations by managing visa application processes and ensuring full regulatory compliance with Australian immigration and employment laws. You'll be responsible for guiding clients through visa pathways, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of migration legislation, and ensuring internal processes align with legal requirements. For the right applicant, a comprehensive in-house training will be provided by an Australian Registered Migration Agent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess eligibility and manage the preparation, lodgment, and monitoring of various Australian visa applications.
  • Ensure full compliance with Australian immigration laws, visa conditions, and partner obligations.
  • Maintain and manage accurate records and documentation in compliance with internal policies.
  • Conduct internal audits and compliance checks on recruitment and visa files.
  • Keep up to date with legislative and policy changes in immigration law and advise the team and clients accordingly.
  • Assist with training and support to internal staff and stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and updates for management and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Meet all statutory, legal and application deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Migration, HR, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in visa processing, immigration compliance, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Australian migration laws, regulations, and visa subclasses.
  • Experience working with employer-sponsored and skilled migration programs is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with education or recruitment sectors is an advantage.
  • Punctuality, diligence, high focus and commitment is required for this role.
  • Amenable to work onsite. This role requires to work onsite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
