AR Collections Assistant

Arbour Group (a Cencora PharmaLex company) is looking for an Accounts Receivable Collections Assistant to join their client's organization, a leading vertical transportation consulting firm based in Canada. This position will primarily focus on contacting clients to encourage the timely payment of invoices, following up on past-due accounts, resolving issues affecting payment, and updating client contact information.

Main Tasks:

  • Become familiar with and utilize the company's proprietary software (Governor) for invoicing, statements, and payment tracking.
  • Reach out to customers via phone, email to follow up on outstanding payments and encourage prompt resolution and payment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities, including contact attempts, payment arrangements, and customer interactions, within the Governor system.
  • Escalate billing disputes or account-related inquiries to the Project Accounting Coordinator for resolution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a resident of the Philippines
  • Able to work on a night shift, following US time zone
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in an office environment; experience in accounting or finance preferred.
  • Proven ability to work accurately in a detail-oriented role.
  • Strong work ethic with excellent time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive; takes initiative with a solution-focused approach.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities across departments.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with digital tools.
