Engineering Supervisor

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Inspects facilities, systems and their components for the purpose of identifying necessary repairs.

2. Oversees engineering and maintenance personnel as assigned for the purpose of maximizing the efficiency of the work force and meeting shift requirements.

3. Supervises the installation or repair of systems and/or components (e.g. Fire alarm, electrical and air conditioning control equipment, conduit, speed shutter door, ducting, boiler, air compressor, motors, bells, clocks, lightings, gutters, flooring, etc.) for the purpose of completing projects safely and within established time frames.

4. Coordinates with administration and other trades for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently.

5. Prepares documentation (e.g. requisitions, purchase orders, etc.) for the purpose of providing written support and/or conveying information.

6. Propose machine modification design , Facility modification design and new machine or equipment

7. Responds to emergency situations for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.

8. Estimates materials and/or equipment needed to complete work projects for the purpose of ensuring timely completion of projects.

9. Oversees the maintenance and replacement of tools and equipment (e.g. construction equipment, hand tools, power tools, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of equipment in safe operating condition.

10. Transports various items (e.g. tools, equipment, supplies, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at job site.

11. Provides the Engineering Manager with regular written and/or oral summaries of work in progress, facility operational status and any unusual or unforeseen conditions encountered in the course of maintenance or construction activities.

12. Develop and implement training assessments, training programs and encourage the development of knowledge and skills of maintenance and operation personnel.

13. May work irregular hours and respond to emergency conditions, on call supervisor.

14. In charge of New machine setup , Complex maintenance activity, Construction projects , machine modification and all CAPEX projects. Ensure timely completion of project and respond to issues and concerns.

15. Monitor and controls, repair and maintenance cost of the plant, Initiate cost saving action.

16. In charge of renewal and completion of test requirements for DOLE mandated permits (BFP, Electrical, Mechanical)

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for on time accomplishment of plant projects from job inquiry, approvals and scheduling till completion.

2. Directing other employee for completion of work orders, pest control findings , failed micro test corrective action and government compliance requirements.

3. Monitor inventory of materials and equipment, purchase parts .

4. Attend and participate in alignment meetings; maintain awareness of new trends and developments in the field of operation and maintenance; incorporate new developments as appropriate into programs.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

· Graduate of Engineering Degree priority is Electrical Engineer and Mechanical Engineer or any related courses with background and at least 5 years of experience leading the entire Engineers and O&M Technician team in Factory Operation and Maintenance.

· Principles, methods and practices of supervision, including planning, organizing, scheduling, training, evaluating, coaching and disciplining employees.

· Technical support for equipment and tools to be used by production for new Products, full support to Research and development team.

· Specific skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: Adhering to safety Practices, Operating equipment used in building maintenance trades, Planning and managing projects and preparing and maintaining accurate records

· Read and interpret engineering drawing, specifications, maps, property maps, and technical studies and investigations.

· Organize, implement and direct facility maintenance operations and activities.

· Can Perform the most complex maintenance duties and operate related equipment.

Experience:

• leading entire Engineers and O&M Technician: 5 years (Preferred)
• Mechanical engineering: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer (Required)
