Blending Supervisor

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of any Engineering or Technical courses
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in food manufacturing firms in Production (Bottling, Blending, or Production Planning)
• With trainings in: Manufacturing Operations, Production Planning, 5S, GMP, ISO, HACCP, Food Safety and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH)

Job Descriptions:

1. Preparation and Blending of Products

2. Direct supervision of all Blending personnel – activities, schedules, leaves approval, performance evaluation and giving disciplinary actions.

3. Coordinates with Fermentation Supervisor on the supply of raw material fish sauce and Bagoong Isda premix to be blended/cooked in Blending area.
4. Oversees the blending/cooking of fish sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, Bagoong Isda and mixing of ingredients needed according to the standard formulation.
5. Coordination and partnership with QA Specialist In-line. Sign-off of documents to assure all standards for ingredients and preservatives preparation, cooking and blending are being followed.
6. Coordinates with Quality Control Inspector on the supply of ingredients and preservatives for fish sauce, soy sauce, vinegar and bagoong isda blending/cooking.
7. Ensures blending formulations being used are accurate and updated. 100% compliance to product formulations standard.
8. Ensures Production capacity level is being met 100%. Can accommodate Fermentation and Bottling capacity.
9. Conducts root cause analysis of any processing problems and implement long term measures to prevent recurrence.
10. Ensures assigned preventive and corrective maintenance work are done in a timely manner.
11. Computes yields and accounts wastages. Identifies causes and provides corrective actions on low yields or high wastages.

12. Ensures proper inventory of products are done on a set frequency per area. Encodes in the SAGE system.

13. Production Planning

14. Create and manage Production schedules that consider resource availability, lead times, and order requirements.

15. Monitor FG inventory levels and provide timely product delivery to Sales.
16. Analyze demand forecasts and Sales orders to anticipate production needs.
17. Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, ingredients and Tolled products.
18. Monitor Production progress and adjust schedules as needed, to meet changing demands.

19. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency.

20. Bottling Section management

21. Acts as Bottling Supervisor when needed.
