The Accounts Receivable Staff is responsible for managing and monitoring incoming payments, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, and maintaining healthy cash flow for the company. This role involves billing clients, following up on outstanding invoices, and reconciling accounts in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances and overdue payments.
  • Follow up with clients regarding unpaid invoices through calls, emails, or official letters.
  • Record and reconcile customer payments with company records.
  • Maintain up-to-date billing and collection records.
  • Coordinate with the sales, operations, and finance departments regarding client accounts.
  • Generate regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging of receivables.
  • Handle client inquiries and resolve discrepancies in billing or payments.
  • Assist in month-end closing and audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in accounting or accounts receivable (fresh graduates with internship experience may be considered).
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
