Job Summary:

We are hiring an
Accounts Receivable Specialist (Medical Biller)
with a strong background in
Accounts Receivable voice collections
to join our growing team. This role involves a combination of
medical billing, claims submission
, and
collections support
to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement from insurance payers and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform
    billing functions
    including charge entry, claims creation, and electronic submission to payers.
  • Utilize
    collections experience
    to identify and follow up on denied, underpaid, or delayed claims.
  • Review and analyze
    patient accounts
    to resolve outstanding balances and billing issues.
  • Work AR follow-ups, both insurance and patient responsibility, to ensure maximum recovery.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies, patients, and internal teams via calls or system notes to resolve claim issues.
  • Track and manage aging reports, escalating complex accounts as needed.
  • Assist in identifying trends in denials or rejections and recommend process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of actions taken in billing systems.

Qualifications:

  • 2–3+ years
    experience in
    US Healthcare RCM
    , with strong
    AR/collections (voice)
    background.
  • Working knowledge of
    insurance billing
    ,
    denials
    ,
    EOBs
    , and
    patient account workflows
    .
  • Experience using medical billing software/EHR (e.g., Athena, AdvancedMD, Kareo, eClinicalWorks, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – especially in patient and payer interaction.
  • Ability to work independently and meet productivity/quality metrics.
