Core Duties

  • Create and revise written material for various mediums, such as websites, marketing collateral, promotional emails, blogs, internal updates, and social platforms
  • Contribute to outreach and hiring campaigns with compelling, search-optimized content
  • Work closely with design and development teams to ensure content supports visuals and user experience
  • Customize language and tone to effectively engage different target groups — including prospective employees, foster care providers, referral networks, and corporate stakeholders
  • Help shape messaging strategies and participate in brainstorming sessions for branding and promotional projects
  • Use and evolve Clarvida's established brand voice to maintain consistency across communications
  • Adjust tone and writing style depending on communication objectives — whether educational, encouraging, or action-driven
  • Proofread and enhance content from other contributors to maintain clarity, tone, and brand alignment
  • Ensure that all written materials are inclusive, culturally sensitive, and appropriate for audiences across the U.S.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated background in content development or copywriting, preferably within marketing or purpose-driven environments
  • Exceptional writing and editing proficiency in American English
  • Experience producing content for both consumer-facing and business-oriented audiences
  • Solid knowledge of SEO principles and how to implement them in digital content
  • Comfortable using content management and collaboration tools like Google Docs, WordPress, and SEO-related platforms
  • Extra credit for experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or human services sectors
  • Bonus points for knowledge of editorial standards like AP Style
