Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer – Public Cloud with strong architecture experience to join our growing infrastructure and cloud operations team. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in dynamic environments and has a deep understanding of cloud technologies, system architecture, and scalable infrastructure solutions.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level cloud infrastructure with a focus on security, reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud strategy, migrations, automation, and modernization initiatives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions across public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Serve as a cloud architecture advisor, contributing to the design of infrastructure solutions that align with enterprise goals and best practices.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation.
  • Support cloud migration projects including assessments, planning, execution, and post-migration optimization.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and costs, and implement automation and alerts where applicable.
  • Implement and manage cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for infrastructure-related incidents and escalations.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native applications.
  • Continuously research and evaluate new cloud technologies and services to drive improvements and innovation.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems engineering, with at least 3 years focused on public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proven experience designing and deploying cloud architectures at scale.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization, networking, and security in a cloud environment.
  • Proficient with infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent).
  • Experience in containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of cloud cost management, monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
  • Experience in hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
  • Background in enterprise IT infrastructure and data center operations.
  • Experience with compliance and security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA).
