As a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting Financial Planners throughout the financial planning process. This role involves preparing compliant advice documents, assisting with strategy development, conducting research, and supporting administrative and implementation tasks to ensure a seamless client experience.

You will be expected to work closely with Financial Planners and stakeholders, including product providers, while maintaining clear communication with clients and the internal team. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prepare compliant advice documents, including Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs).
  • Collaborate with Financial Planners to develop tailored strategies and recommendations.
  • Conduct research using financial planning tools and liaise with product providers to support advice implementation.
  • Assist with administration and implementation tasks to ensure smooth client service.
  • Perform portfolio construction, aligning investments with client risk profiles using X-Plan tools.
  • Undertake financial modelling for cash flow and projections.
  • Utilise X-Plan functions such as CALM, X Tools Plus, Weathersolver, email management, and client segmentation tools.
  • Conduct insurance research and analysis using Risk Researcher.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process enhancements, team development, and improved client communication.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of product, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of paraplanning experience, ideally within the Australian financial planning industry.
  • Proficiency in X-Plan, including CALM, X Tools Plus, and Weathersolver.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian financial strategies, including Centrelink advice.
  • Experience in portfolio construction and financial modelling (cash flow and projections).
  • Skilled in preparing compliant SOAs/ROAs and conducting insurance analysis using Risk Researcher.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with Financial Planners and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of taxation and pension deeming rules relevant to retirees, including Australian income tax rates.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Php Php450.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
