At TalentsThatFit, we prioritize relationship building with our clients, our internal team, and the talents that we serve.

We are seeking a highly skilled AU Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting and ensure accurate and timely financial processes. This is a 100% remote position requiring strong knowledge of Australian tax compliance, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting & Compliance
  • Handle full-cycle accounting, including bookkeeping and reconciliations
  • Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
  • Manage Australian tax compliance (BAS, IAS, GST, payroll tax, etc.)
  • Maintain compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulations
  • Financial Operations
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to clients
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure deadlines are met

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5–10 years of accounting experience, preferably with Australian firms
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws, BAS, IAS, and GST compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar)
  • Strong bookkeeping and financial reporting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • CPA/CA qualification preferred but not required
  • Must have a reliable laptop, backup power supply, and a stable internet connection with a data backup option

  • Remote, full-time position
  • Monday–Saturday (Day shift); 100% work from home
